Daniel's Bay

Bill,

I'm back in Nuku Hiva after a couple of days in Daniel's bay. That's where they filmed survivor Marquises and it was pretty dramatic. A Piroque Polynesian came in, that's one of those huge catamaran canoes, with a bunch of school kids and I helped them ferry passengers and supplies back and forth to the shore. Tomorrow, Friday, that piroque is going south to the little Island of Ua Pou and I have been invited to accompany it, it's on a wedding party, so that might be a lot of fun.

Tracy might, I hope she does, send all my mail to you and I would like you to help me with it, and send the proper ones onwards to me and deal with some of the others for me. Of course you will be very well compensated with gold. I also have a bit of a problem with my two outboard motors and so I would like to order the parts in Victoria and have them picked up by yourself and then mailed onwards, with some of my mail, to Laurent for pickup in Tahiti. That pickup in Tahiti should work well if we can get it organized by next weekend, because I won't be in Tahiti for some time.
