Island Prism is a 36' cutter-rigged motorsailer, built in the 1970s by Les and Audrey Shortreed of Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada. Their eldest son Jim is currently circumnavigating the globe in Island Prism.
Island Prism is heading south from Fiji for New Zealand as of Oct 23 or 24. Jim will head towards the Minerva Reefs where he may have to wait for a weather window.
